Nourishment

Food supplies us with the building blocks needed to keep us active and engaged in our day-to-day lives. Many of us know that healthy eating is important. But what is the definition of "healthy"? It varies for each of us as we are all biochemically unique. Our age, activity and stress levels, constitution, illnesses and even the season, all affect our individual nutrition needs. 

Food should do more than simply sustain us - it should make us feel deeply  nourished. 

 

You are what you absorb

Taking the adage, "You are what you eat" one step further, it is important that our digestive system is functioning optimally in order to absorb and make use of the nutrients that we eat. 

Some people require specific diets for a length of time while we work on repair and regeneration of their digestive tracts.
